Unexport’s commitment to gender equality in Adecco’s 8M 2021 Women’s Week

 In 2030 Agenda, Campaign, Unexport

From Unexport we support and share with Adecco Women’s Week 8M 2021, which responds to the need to empower women in vulnerable situations as a prior step to their integration into the labor market or improvement of their employment conditions.

In order to achieve its objectives, Adecco has scheduled for the next few days (from March 8th to 12th) an agenda of activities focused on providing different tools to the protagonists of this Women’s Week: women at risk of social exclusion, victims of violence, with non-shared family responsibilities, and long-term unemployed older than 55 years.

Adecco’s involvement in this 8M 2021 Women’s Week is promoted by the objectives of the Unexport Equality Plan. These objectives are related to gender issues from equal opportunities and non-discrimination, to the equitable distribution of our employees by age and sex; thus promoting a company culture that pursues equality in the treatment and distribution of opportunities, contributing our grain of sand to the great change necessary in the foundations of the society in which we live.

In addition, participation in this action highlights the work of Unexport to achieve the goals of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), in our commitment to the United Nations 2030 Agenda: 1 End of poverty, 5 Gender equality, 8 Decent work and economic growth and 10 Reduction of inequalities.

The development of the activities will be a success, and undoubtedly a great contribution to the achievement of a society with people in a less vulnerable situation.
